Thu, 3 Nov DAY Craigieburn: Aitken and Malcolm Creek Trails. Catch Metro to Craigieburn. Walk the Aitken and Malcolm Creek Trails and see the extensive revegetation done along the two creek corridors. Native grasslands and grassy woodlands such as those found in Malcom Creek Nature Reserve occurred across the Craigieburn area before European settlement. Views to the You Yangs, Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula. After lunch we will go on the Kevin Hoffman Walk which is Lara's impressive native garden trail. Sat, 5 Nov DAY Red Hill Market & Rail Trail. Park in the Red Hill Recreation Reserve ($5 per car). Start with a 1 hour wander around the iconic Red Hill market - perfect destination to purchase a unique home made gift, or simply buy and eat a yummy breakfast or morning tea. Our walk is a loop trail from the Recreation Reserve onto Merricks Trail via Stanley Rd, Station Rd and Arthurs Seat Rd. E 13 km

Walk the Skeleton Creek and Federation Trails through Tarneit, Truganina and Hoppers Crossing to Williams Landing. Appreciate the re-vegetation and restoration work done over the last 30 years by the Friends of Skeleton Creek and Wyndham City Council. Thu, 24 Nov DAY Plenty Gorge Park. Travel by Metro to Greensborough (Hurstbridge line) and then take a short route 385 bus ride. Walk the Plenty River Trail which is in a picturesque valley, a trail beside Dry Creek, the Pipe Track and on tracks in Plenty Gorge Park. At the end of the walk, route 343, 385 or 901 bus to Greensborough station. Walk date subject to Hurstbridge line trains operating during construction of a new Greensborough station.
