We took a drive along Long Pains drive to visit the Blue waterholes and Clarke gorge - a fabulous walk along the gorge crossing the river 10 times to get to the waterfall to have out lunch and then back- we also visited Coolamine homestead.

Volunteer recruitment is now open for the 2018/2019 season of Falls Creek Hawkweed Eradication Program Volunteer Surveys. Hawkweeds are a highly invasive pest plant species which could cause major environmental damage in alpine & sub-alpine areas of Australia if not eradicated early.
Participating in the Falls Creek Volunteer surveys is a great way to help protect the Victorian Alps from this dangerous weed, as well as a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the magnificent alpine environment during the green summer months.
We have an emergency "Regent Honeyeater Project" needs your help.
Our normal Planting Season must change to fit funding requirements.

Geoff Trist has sent the following message to known cyclists: HI BBC riders, After the June meeting Terry Hammond Cycles will be along to show us some helpful hints on changing cycle tyres and suitable goods to make it easy. If you can make the June meeting you may find this of some interest. Cheers Geoff
