Thu, 20 May DAY The Shrine and Royal Botanic Gardens. From Flinders Street station, walk through the Queen Victoria Gardens and Kings Domain to The Shrine. Spend some time at The Shrine. Walk through the Royal Botanic Gardens. Cross over the Yarra River and walk around the MCG up to the Fitzroy Gardens, Treasury Gardens and Birrarung Marr. E 11 km
Thu, 27 May DAY Mount Evelyn to Silvan Reservoir Park. Catch Metro to Lilydale and a 663 bus to Mount Evelyn. Walk from Mount Evelyn to Silvan Reservoir Park along the Mount Evelyn Aqueduct Trail and Olinda Creek Track. From Silvan Reservoir Park, walk along Messmate and Circuit Tracks to the 663 bus stop on Monbulk Road for our return to Lilydale station. E 11 km
Sun, 13 Jun DAY Rokeby rail trail. Rokeby Rail trail, near Jindivick, is a gentle walk amongst tall gums An old trestle bridge is another feature of this walk. Gippsland hills are an intense blue on on fine day. E/M 12 km
Thu, 13 May DAY Mount Eliza. Travel by Metro to Frankston and bus to Mount Eliza. Walk to Canadian and Half Moon Bays and Ranelagh beach. Wander through the Walter Burley and Marion Mahony Griffin designed Ranelagh Estate (circa 1924) and along the Earimil Creek Bushland Reserve. After lunch we explore Mount Eliza, south of the Nepean Highway. At the end of the walk, board 781, 784, 785 or 788 bus to Frankston station. E 12 km
Sun, 25 Jul DAY Freemans Track. A marvelous walk under the canopy of tall eucalyptus and giant fern trees. In February 2009, 45 per cent of Bunyip State Park was burnt by wildfire despite of this event the forest has recovered. M 12 km
