And Tidbinbilla reserve with their beautiful views and alpine scenery also visit the Murrumbidgee river and the deep space communications complex- driving by private car- cost of this camp $500.00 $300.00 deposit. NB Members from Canberra BC ( week prior) will be given preference due to proximity ( 4 to my knowledge ) NB People will be selected on their fitness and ability to do these walks. M 16 km

Fri, 13-16 Nov BC federation walks weekend 2020 Licola. Fed walks weekend will be at Licola - Mountain tops. huts, waterfalls, wildflowers, sparkling rivers and a jewel of a lake. Accommodation is provided at a community residential camp at Licola. Booking will be through the Federation walks website in 2020. Gippsland clubs are organising the event and plan to include some overnight hikes as well as a range of day walks suitable for all abilities. DAY Mt Macedon. An 18km walk in the Macedon Regional Park. The initial climb of 350m is over 2km. Generally the track is a good forest surface with gravel road in some sections. There is a steep descent from Mt Towrong at the end of the walk over exposed rocks (200m over 1.5km). This will be slippery if wet. Boots and poles are essential. Fabulous views in several directions if the weather is clear. M/H 18 km

DAY O' Shannassy Aqueduct western end. A walk along the western section of the Aqueduct - less walked than the middle and eastern sections. THis section begins at Dee Rd and goes to Parrot Road and return. The trial follows the historic open channelled aqueduct, meandering through pristine forest. You walk past mature fern gullies, creeks, towering mountain ash, and encounter spectacular views of the valley below. M/H 22 km
