Fri, 12-15 Nov BC Federation Walks Weekend 2021 Licola. Fed walks weekend will be at Licola - Mountain tops. huts, waterfalls, wildflowers, sparkling rivers and a jewel of a lake. Accommodation is provided at a community residential camp at Licola. Booking will be through the Federation walks website in 2021. Gippsland clubs are organising the event and plan to include some overnight hikes as well as a range of day walks suitable for all abilities. Fri, 5-15 Nov BC Aussie Camino. 160km walk along the Mary McKillip path. Walking from Portland to Penola. Coastal for first half, then inland to Coonawarra, Averaging 23 km per day.One 30km day. Rest day on the Glenelg River at Nelson. Canoeing to Princess Margaret Caves . As this walk was scheduled in 2019, The original 12 people who registered have been booked in. Waitlist is 13 and will be extended to 16. we need a couple and one male. We will have a support vehicle ( Geoff Trist ). H 25 km
Fri, 15-25 Oct BC Grampians Silo Tour. Several walks in the Grampians. Tour of the Silos in the Mallee. Stawell mine walk in Avoca/ Maryborough. Underground wine tour of Seppelts/Lunch on the way up. I have booked accommodation for 12 in Halls Gap rolled over from 2019, As I have 10 applicants from the 2019 banner/canceled 2020, I will endeavour to increase numbers to 16 depending on interest, accommodation availability, and couples. Mon, 4-10 Oct BC Grampians in Springtime 2021. Springtime walking in the Grampians in 2021. Enjoy wonderful views and wildflowers. Walk on sections of the Grampians peak trail. Also explore some walks in the northern Grampians. Stay at comfortable lodges on the edge of Halls Gap. Longer driving required to some walks. Stay for 6 nights; arrive 4th October, home on 10th October. M/H 16 km
Sun, 25 Jul DAY Freemans Track. A marvelous walk under the canopy of tall eucalyptus and giant fern trees. In February 2009, 45 per cent of Bunyip State Park was burnt by wildfire despite of this event the forest has recovered. M 12 km
