Sat, 30 Mar DAY Flinders Ramble. Circuit of Flinders and surrounds, including a visit to the blowhole and some rural landscapes. Stunning views of Westernport from the ridge line. Some hills which are steep. Boots required as it can be muddy.Poles highly advisable. M 14 km
Thu, 4 Apr DAY Ferny Creek Trail. Catch Metro to Upper Ferntree Gully. Walk to Quarry Reserve and then make our way to the Ferny Creek Trail. Follow the trail down-stream past the Wally Tew Reserve, the Waterford Valley Golf Course and Knox Park and its neighbouring facilities. The walk ends at Stud Road where we catch a 901 bus to either Dandenong or Ringwood stations. Please don't book unless you are sure of being on the walk. E 12 km
Sat, 6 Apr DAY Mt. Evelyn circuit. A 14 km circuit walk following old aqueduct tracks to Silvan Reservoir area. The picnic ground is currently closed. We will climb about 490 m in total, on some 4x4 and some single file bush tracks. A number of hills are very steep, both up and down (arduous climbs, especially in hot weather). This is a good training walk. Very slippery when wet. Many colourful birds; lots of kookaburras. M 14 km

O/N Eildon overnight Backpack. Lake Eildon National Park is in the northern foothills of Victoria’s Central Highlands, 150 km north-east of Melbourne. Mountaineers Creek campsite is situated on the shores of Lake Eildon and is a delightful remote campsite accessible by hiking or boat only. All hikers will need to be self-sufficient on this two-day adventure. M/H 26 km
Sat, 6 Apr DAY Keppel Lookout to Stevensons Falls return Marysville. Walk across the face of the hills above the beautiful town of Marysville. You'll pass Oxley Lookout, Del La Rue Lookout, and the Steavenson Falls Lookouts along the way – all of which provide expansive views of the greater Yarra and Cathedral ranges. We walk out and back so views from both directions. Morning walk with time to explore the town and other tracks after lunch at Keppel Lookout. M 11 km

GSWW Portland to Nelson inland walk along the Glenelg River. 120km. 6 nights/7 days. 2 days travel to/from Portland. 2 nights B&B at Victoria House at Portland. Quality Parks campsites. Bus transfer from Nelson back to Portland. A good level of fitness is required to carry overnight walking gear & 6 days food. Priority given to walkers who have not done the walk before. Sun, 7 Apr DAY Hersonswood Estate Gardens. Meet at Dromana foreshore Reserve 9:00am. Start walking at 9.15am. We will walk the back of Dromana-Charles street then Thomas street. Pass the bottom of the Arthur’s Seat Eagle, and up through Dromana Cemetary. Having a stroll through Hersonwood Estate Gardens for Morning tea. Then back down along Dromana Reserve to cars for late lunch if you choose to. It will be a great day. E/M 15 km
Sun, 7 Apr DAY Lake Mountain to Keppel Hut. An 18 km there and back walk, with a rise of 540m, steep in parts. We will walk on x-country ski trails and a bush track with some obstacles to manoeuvre. Fragrant bushes along the walk add to the pleasant bush feel. M/H 18 km
Wed, 10 Apr CON Clearing of Freemans Mill Track. Clear track using hand tools supplied by Parks Victoria and BTAC. E 7 km
Thu, 11 Apr DAY Macedon in autumn. Travel by V/Line (myki usable) to Macedon (Bendigo line). Walk in and around Macedon township and see the vibrant autumn colours. Lunch at Stanley Park which includes Turitable Falls where Turitable Creek cascades over an ancient lava flow. Return to Macedon station via the at times challenging Macedon Ranges Trail. Southern Cross departure 9:05am; arrival 4:24pm. Please don't book unless you are sure of being on the walk. M 14 km
