Burchill Trail, Brisbane Ranges. 3 day walk from Boars Gully in north of Brisbane Ranges NP to Fridays Campsite near Steiglitz. Camping at walk-in sites with toilets and water (TB checked). 'State's richest wildflower habitat'.
Walking is generally easy/moderate on formed paths, with one rocky ravine on day 2. Undulating scrubby treed country.
Since this is a car shuffle, I prefer a volunteer with a 6 seater car to put their car at the end on Tuesday morning, and transport walkers back to start on Wed pm. |

Melbourne shrine and Gardens. We will meet at Flinders Street station at 9.30am. We then walk together to the Shrine where we will do the introductions. Those that came last year may remember Judith, the volunteer at the shrine, and her knowledge of all the wars was terrific. I will book her to take us on a tour. Later we visit the Gardens around Melbourne, with lunch at Treasury Gardens. Then back along the Yarra River to Federation square where the walk will end.
Visitors and new members are encouraged to join us for a great day. |
